After driving the coolest highway ever, CA 299, I arrived in Eureka Wednesday evening.
After driving the coolest highway ever, CA 299, I arrived in Eureka Wednesday evening.
Bungie and I were glad to be off the road and visiting my old friends, Paul and Karen.
When Karen got down working about noon on Thursday, we took off to do errands. Replacing my lost glasses was #1 on my priority list. We had to try on some rhinestone frames. Aren't they cute?
While walking and talking outside her hairdresser's shop, my journey took an enormous detour:
According to the x-rays, I have fractured my left forearm, wrist, ankle, and foot. I am still trying to get in to see an orthopedic doctor and develop a plan. Needless to say, I am enormously saddened at this turn in events.
